Welcome to the H20 apartment Budapest website!

Our apartment is found in the Újlipótváros (New Lipót City), on the Pest side of the Margret Bridge. I lived in this area of Budapest for years and still work in the neighborhood, so perhaps I am biased, but I find this neighborhood as the nicest and most attractive area of the city.

Stepping out of the apartment, you will find yourself right in the heart of the city, with countless cafés and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Also, the peaceful, relaxing Margret Island, with its lush greenery, fountains, and Japanese garden, is just a stone’s throw away.

Perhaps my favorite street, the neighboring Pozsonyi Rd, is filled with small artisan shops, upscale cafés with lovely outdoor seating, and St. István Park, another slice of green calm in the busy city center. You can find everything you need right here, a small town within the big city of Budapest itself.

It’s a 3 minute walk out to the Banks of the Danube, 5 minutes to the popular Víg Theatre, and an easy 10 minute stroll to the breathtaking and legendary Parliament in Kossuth Square. Perhaps the most beautiful, panoramic view of the city can be observed by walking mid-way across the Margaret Bridge, with the stately beauty of the Parliament to your left, the blue Danube flowing underneath, and the Citadella, Gellért Hill, Buda Castle, and Fisherman’s Bastion above to your right. This astounding panorama is particularly inspiring after dark, when the nocturnal city lights take one’s breath away. Together with the Buda side of Margret Bridge, this forms a particularly photogenic part of the city, as evidenced by the above picture. 🙂

The apartment is 40 square meters, just perfect for a couple, and found on the ground floor. It’s completely and comfortably furnished with air conditioning, flat-screen TV, fully stocked kitchen, and organic fireplace. From the kitchen, there is direct access to a large inner courtyard garden, where you can enjoy your breakfast accompanied by song of resident birds, or enjoy a glass of Hungarian wine after a big day of exploring the city.

Check-in at H20ApartmanBudapest is from 14.00, and check-out is until 10.00.

State for periods of residence of longer than 7 days, the weekly houskeeping is included.

Daily housekeeping is available for additonal charge.
Airport 24 km (42 min. by car)

The closest train station to Budapest Airport Terminal 2 is Ferihegy, with trains operating to and from the Nyugati railway station in Budapest.
From Terminal 2, Ferihegy is accessible by bus number 200E.
